Barcelona Media set up the company based in Brazil, Barcelona Media Inovação Brasil, as part of the line of internationalisation of the business that it has undertaken in recent fiscal years. Barcelona Media Inovação Brasil, with headquarters in Salvador de Bahia, forms part of the boost to opening up markets in Latin America and Asia that the technology centre has taken on.

According to the general director of Barcelona Media, Anna Pàmies, consolidating internationalisation “is one of the most significant challenges taken on by the centre”. For this reason, Barcelona Media has started up a “programme of strategic action focusing on the coming years”.

Barcelona Media has already signed collaboration agreements with the Ministry of Culture in Brazil for the creation of projects and programmes destined to enhance the country’s cultural values. The opening of Barcelona Media Inovação Brasil is designed to promote all these actions and opportunities.
