Barcelona Media, as a benchmark R&D&I centre in Europe, has consolidated long-term relations with international companies that operate either as technological or commercial partners and that carry out part of their activity at the BM facilities. The companies and hosted Labs enable contact with the market and the global industry, and favours the internationalisation of Barcelona Media.

Since 2006 Barcelona Media has hosted the only Yahoo! Lab in Europe. It is a pioneer laboratory in new sciences on the Web: they do research and develop technologies that reinforce Yahoo! products.
