Barcelona Media – Innovation Centre is the CT 06/05 centre of the Network of Technology Centres (Xarxa de Centres Tecnològics, or XCT) of the CIDEM. This network endeavours to facilitate the transfer of the knowledge of the universities to the business world, as well as passing on the technological needs of business to the academic world.

The centre is registered at number 89 in the CICYT Innovation and Technology Centre Registry (Registro de Centros de Innovación y Tecnología of the CICYT), and at number 0033062007 in the Centre for Research and Development Registry (Registro de Centros de Investigación y Desarrollo) of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce (Ministerio de Indústria, Turismo y Comercio).

Barcelona Media is a member of the Catalan Coordinator of Foundations and of the Spanish Federation of Innovation and Technology Bodies (Federación Española de Entidades de Innovación y Tecnología) (FEDIT).

The Fundació Barcelona Media Universitat Pompeu Fabra is inscribed at number 1582 in the registry of the Foundations of the Government of Catalonia (Fundacions de la Generalitat de Catalunya).
