The i3media project reaches successfully its first year research objectives

The i3media project, for the creation and automated management of intelligent audiovisual contents, has reached successfully its objectives of the first year of validity. The representatives of the CDTI (Centre for the Industrial Technological Development) of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain (MITyC), have checked the results of the project, which has the support of the MITyC, during a monitoring visit. Barcelona Media and Pompeu Fabra University researchers win the Eye Tracking Prize

A researchers group from Barcelona Media (BM) and Pompeu Fabra University has been rewarded with the Eye Tracking Prize, in recognition to the best research work that uses ocular follow-up technology, called “eye tracking”. The BM Virtual Visualization Lab 'creates' the new CMT headquartes in Barcelona

The Barcelona Media (BM) Virtual Visualization Lab has created the virtual simulation of the new headquarters for the Comissió del Mercat de les Telecomunicacions (CMT), in the technological district 22@, in Barcelona. The 3D visualization of the new building was used to present the future headquarters, in an institutional event held on 3rd July, in which the Industry Minister, Miguel Sebastian, the Barcelona Mayor, Jordi Hereu and the Generalitat president, Jose Montilla took part.
