Trans2Tech is organizing a workshop to bring closer industry and research
Feb 29, 2008 - BM news
The European project Trans2Tech (European Commission, FP6), whose aim is to promote knowledge transfer at a European level, has organised the Workshop “Driving Innovation from Science to Business” , which will take place in Aix-en-Provence, France, on March, 6, 2008. Transfer of knowledge is nowadays one of the most important aspects of the interaction between research and industry. Even though there is activity at a national level, transfer at a transeuropean level is still to be consolidated. This represents both a big challenge and a big opportunity for universities, industry and innovation centres. The aim of the Workshop is to present various topics related to the marketing of results in research, as a response to the needs and requirements of the industry and business. Experts in technology transfer and representatives of companies with experience collaborating with transfer offices will be present.
