Barcelona Media Seminars: Interactive Technology Group

Barcelona Media – Innovation Centre is organizing a series of seminars in order to promote interdisciplinarity in the research area of the media.

The third seminar of the series will take place next Tuesday, January 29:

Graphics and Interaction in Media and eLearning, by Josep Blat.

The session will be held in English and will present an initial overview of the research activities carried out at the GTI (Interactive Technologies Group). The GTI is a research group affiliated to Barcelona Media and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), and has activities mainly related to applications to Media and eLearning. The main areas of research are interaction and graphics.

Josep Blat is Head of the Departament of Information and Communications Technologies at the UPF, and director of the GTI, Barcelona Media and UPF.

The seminar will take place at Barcelona Media (c/Ocata 1, 08003 Barcelona), in Room 210 at 14:15h. There will be sandwiches and drinks available.
