Jordi Arquès, of Barcelona Media, nominated to the Premis Gaudí de Cinema

Jordi Arquès, researcher of Barcelona Media’s Audio research line, along with Ola Apenes, Kenneth Gustav, and Jordi Casuga, is one of the nominees for the Premis Gaudí de Cinema for the film The Frost, nominated for best sound.

The list of nominees was learned yesterday and the prizes will be awarded on 1st February in Barcelona's Coliseum Theater. The awards are addressed to twenty-two categories, plus the Gaudí Prize of Honor.

The Premis Gaudí de Cinema have their origin in the Premis Barcelona de Cinema, a contest created by the Col•legi de Directors in 2002. Currently, under the scope of the Academy of Cinema Català, have become the annual awards of the Academy. Their first edition was held on 19th January 2009.
