Barcelona Media participates in the “Mediatized Net” sessions with a speech by Santi Fort

Barcelona Media participates in the “Mediatized Net” sessions, coordinated by Livemedia, the Cultural Studies and Resources Centre of the Barcelona Council and the Plastic & Visual Education and Audiovisual Communication of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

In the sessions, which will take place in the CERC headquarters (Montalegre, 7, Barcelona), from 16th to 19th December, there will be conferences and discussions which will analyze the problem of culture and communication in the net by means of the present emerging “mediatizations”.

Santi Fort, technical coordinator of the Barcelona Media Graphic research line will present the conference entitled “Perspectives of technological innovation in Internet”, in the session of Thursday 19th December at 17h.

The topics dealt with at the sessions will range from web diversity to mediation strategies, along with net cultures, and they will be analyzed from the perspectives of the different cultural practices, educational or social uses and audiovisual production.
