The Culture Lab organizes a seminar for SEBRAE about culture as a factor for local development
The Barcelona Media Culture Lab has organized, for the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Companies of Brazil (SEBRAE, in their abbreviation in Brazilian) a seminar about the interaction between culture and technology and the idea of culture as a factor for local development. In the sessions, which have been celebrated from 22nd to 26th September, the Culture Lab researchers have shared their experience with more than twenty experts from SEBRAE, who work on culture and development projects around Brazil. Barcelona Media is one of the entitites which collaborates in the Volunteering project organized by 22@Network, the association of companies and institutions of the technological district 22@ Barcelona. This initiative is open to all workers of the companies which form the 22@Network and has as a main objective to give support to the social, educational and cultural projects of the San Martí district, to foster corporate social responsibility actions and, at the same time, to promote the Internet use and learning in daily life.
