The Virtual Visualization Laboratory generates a three dimensional model of the Mercat del Born in the restoration process

The Barcelona Media Virtual Visualization Laboratory has generated the three dimensional model of the Mercat del Born and its| environment, within the framework of the presentation of the process of restoration and adequacy of the building, celebrated in the Archive of the Museum of History.
The virtual model has illustrated the explanations of the press conference and has recreated the works of restoration are foreseen to finish, placing in the space the different pathologies that the technical and museographic teams working in the project have detected.
In the act, Enric Sòria, architect responsible of the restoration, and Joan Roca, director of the Museum of History, have explained the context and goals of the performances, as a result of the new diagnosis made by the technicians which forces to reconsider the process of restoration and postpones the opening of the building until 2012. Michele Marino, director of the LV2 and director of Business Development of Barcelona Media, and Toni Torrente, of the LV2 have also attended the act.
