BM Seminars: Pere Garcia Calvés presents the CSIC Artificial Intelligence Research Institute

Pere Garcia Calvés, scientific titular of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the Scientific Superior Research board, presented the centre at the session of the BM seminars cycle on 16th December, organized by Barcelona Media.
The IIIA, located at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) campus, is a centre specialized on three research lines in the field of artificial intelligence: reasoning and logic ( soft computing, approximate reasoning…), learning systems (reasoning based on cases, music and AI…) and Multiagent systems (autonomous robots, electronic institutions, agents technology, negotiation, reputation and trust, automated systems...).
Pere Garcia Calvés is also co director of the Artificial Intelligence Technological Development Unit and its research lines are the multiagent systems, the intelligent agents, such as communication, cooperation, negotiation and learning as well as the electronic commerce applications.
