    The three members of the Catalan Institute for Applied Research, Technology Innovation and Creativity-ARTIC, Barcelona Media, the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) and Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, have signed with the Agency for Administration of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) and the CERCA Institute, a new agreement within the SUMA program, which is aimed at achieving integrated structures with greater critical mass and higher scientific competitiveness.

    Last March Barcelona was named the first European Capital of Innovation and a whole range of possibilities opened up that will enable to city to take another qualitative leap in its development.     Barcelona Media is still working on and contributing ideas to the consolidation of industrial clusters in the field of the creative industries, by both organising specific meetings for development and expansion and by taking part in conferences concerning the promotion of collaboration among them.
  • Barcelona Media to provide arguments at the Research and Companies Conference at the Science, Technology and Innovation Festival[03/06/2014]

    The Science, Technology and Innovation Festival will be staging a conference on 5 June at the Disseny Hub Barcelona, under the title "Research and Companies: collaborating to compete better”, bringing together experts and agents involved in these two fields to analyse what joins these two branches of activity and what separates them, with the purpose of presenting challenges and solutions for the future.

  • Award ceremony of the Barcelona City Challenge [11/12/2013]

    This Thursday December 12 from 7:00pm onwards, the CaixaForum will host the Barcelona City Challenge awards ceremony, where cyclists have captured their tours from 29 September to 8 December to show how cycling reduces C02 emissions.
